Jewell Instruments has expanded its market to Turkey with the addition of IMCA Electronics as its latest sales representative. The Istanbul-based company was signed in February and is the first agent to represent the Jewell name in the country of Turkey.
“Jewell is excited to add IMCA Electronics to its network of international representatives,” said Brian Ward, director of business development for Jewell. “IMCA’s in-depth technical knowledge and application expertise are fantastic compliments to our high precision inclinometer and accelerometer product lines. With IMCA, Jewell looks forward to expanding its market presence in Turkey’s military, aerospace, civil engineering and industrial market sectors.”
IMCA is a vendor of connectors, R and F microwave devices, power sources, sensors, industrial PC modules and fasteners. Now the list includes Jewell sensors.
IMCA will cover all of Turkey in selling Jewell’s sensor and control products including force-balanced accelerometers and inclinometers, electrolytic tilt sensors and MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems). The company also backs up its products with a team of experienced engineers that have impeccable knowledge of how to apply each device to specific markets.
Not only will this partnership extend Jewell’s reach to a new part of the world, it will also open the door to a couple of valuable markets. IMCA serves a large portion of military and aerospace clients which will be a great opportunity for Jewell.
Jewell will be present alongside its new agent at the International Defense Industry Fair in Istanbul in May.
