The D2500 programmable Bridge input modules measure load cells and other bridge type sensors. The Bridge input modules provide an isolated 15-bit measurement, 5V, 8V, or 10V Excitation voltage output, analog to digital conversion and a linearized data output scaled in engineering units. The scaled data is communicated using either RS-232 or RS-485.
The D2500 series programmable bridge input modules include user-selectable scaling of the ADC output data values to desired engineering units that match the application. For example, the D2500 can be programmed to output scaled data values in pounds in a weighing application. See the Programming Supplement for more details and examples.
The D2500 programmable Bridge input modules provide one discrete digital output that can also be configured as LO alarm output.
