The BP-8 mounting backplane simplifies the mounting of multiple RS-485 modules in a single location. The backplane reduces wiring costs by making all the common power supply and communications connections on the backplane. Screw terminals are provided to interface sensor connections, the power supply and communications signals. The backplanes include thru-hole stand offs for mounting, a module hold-down bar, and holes for an RS-485 termination resistor.
