The Jewell ASMP Angular Accelerometer is configured specifically to yield a combination of miniaturization, high accuracy and ruggedness. The ASMP has been designed to minimize thermal errors associated with outdoor applications. The Jewell ASMP Series is the highest accuracy sensor of its class in the world today.
The Jewell ASXC Series Fluid Rotor Angular Accelerometer is a force balanced servo accelerometer that uses a fluid-filled ring chamber to measure angular acceleration. The ASXC is currently used in a wide variety of applications such as many military and aviation flight controls including autopilot or aircraft stability and control systems or satellite stability.
The ECV eCompass Series is a 3D electronic compass providing stable azimuth, pitch, and roll measurements in dynamic conditions. As an enhanced version of our ECG Series, the ECV includes a full suite of precision, 3-axis, MEMS sensors, and an optional dual-axis electrolytic tilt sensor, for the ultimate in near-level accuracy. A high-performance microcontroller orchestrates the fast measurement sequence, sensor calibration adjustments, frame-of-reference translations, trigonometric calculations, and advanced signal processing required to provide accurate heading, pitch, and roll outputs.
Jewell Instruments’ offers ECV-IMU Series initial measurement units which assure high accuracy in a small package. This inertial measurement unit is a cost efficient, low power consuming device which provides stable azimuth, pitch, and roll measurements in dynamic conditions. This sensor consists of 3-axis angular rate gyros, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, and optional 2-axis electrolytic tilt sensor. These IMUs have a wide operating range and are factory calibrated. Hence, they offer an accurate and fast output through RS-485.
The models A711-2 (floor-mount), and A716-2 (wall-mount) bolt or clamp to any surface, and are well suited for areas with heavy traffic or vibration. Electronic performance is identical to the model A701-2. Floor-mount models are available with a weatherproof NEMA 4X seal (A711-2 4X), or with an RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 digital output (D711). D711 units also include onboard memory with a storage capacity of up to 22,000 samples. Units include two switchable gains and two low-pass filter settings and are sensitive to <0.1 µrad. Applications include volcano monitoring, high-precision geotechnical engineering, bridge deflection monitoring, precision metrology, radar platform leveling, and high-accuracy tilt monitoring applications where bolt-on installations are required.
