Jewell Instruments, LLC announces the addition of their new DSI-1000 Digital Display Series to their Inertial Sensors and Controls product line.
Jewell Instruments, a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of sensors and controls, meters and avionics, and industrial test equipment today announced the addition of their new digital display, the first of the new DSI Series, to their Inertial Sensors and Controls Accessories product line. The DSI-1000 Series product is a microprocessor-based panel meter designed to work in conjunction with Jewell Instruments gravity referenced Inclinometer sensors to display its analog input as digital angle readout. The compact unit is a precision inertial grade sensing instrument and is the most robust solution designed to meet the needs of a variety of commercial, industrial, and aerospace applications.
The DSI-1000 Series Digital Display features dual-channel inputs and front panel switches for easy in-field programming and calibration. The display is programmable for various range inclinometers and offers an RS-232 interface as its standard. Its small form factor and splash-proof bezel make it an essential tool to work in most environmental conditions. It provides ±15VDC sensor excitation and conditions the Inclinometer output to display the angle down to .001 degrees. Custom capabilities include adding an Ethernet Input, RJ45 Connector, RS-485 Interface, Sunlight Readable Red LED, and many more.
