The Omega Enterprise Gateway (OEG) software makes monitoring your processes easy with connectivity to DGH data acquisition modules.ย OMEGA OEG is a bridge between DGH devices, Omega sensing devices and industrial software applications. It is a standalone IoT sensing software that delivers device provisioning, status monitoring, data logging, visualization, and analytics. A variety of OMEGA devices are supported by this Gateway software, including DGH D6000 and D8000 series Modbus compatible data acquisition modules.
The DGH Modbus compatible data acquisition modules are ideal for use with OEG, leveraging the internal Modbus RTU driver support for communications. The DGH Modbus products are capable of measuring industrial sensors such as thermocouples, 4-20mA current loops and sensors with a DC voltage output.ย Along with the native software interface, users can easily configure devices and input channels to monitor systems in real time, and communicate sensor data to other software applications using the OPC-UA functionality.
The OPC-UA functionality is available within OEG to easily integrate DGH module data with your existing software infrastructure.ย Using the OPC UA server, applications can feed sensor data to the OPC UA compliant applications such as SCADA, HMI, MES, and more.ย Once the user connects DGH devices to the Gateway, the Gateway will automatically expose all sensor data as OPC UA nodes. The Enterprise application can then pull all OPC UA node values and display them on the screen.
Omega OEG can operate as a standalone solution for sensing, archiving, and charting of sensor data. When used in environmental monitoring applications such as sensing ambient temperature and humidity, OEG can provide real-time monitoring, alarms, notifications, archiving, and analytics that are required in these applications.
